Absolute Zero

Nicole Ellery is a young woman who is tormented at school by bullies.  The only way out, she finds, is to become a bully herself.  It's this hands-on approach that begins to serve her in a new context one day, as she awakens from a coma-like state, suddenly possessing the power to control ice.

Nicole's not alone in acquiring powers.  The experience brings with it a whole new group of friends, with their own powers.  But it also brings new enemies—rather than the cheerleaders hurling insults, Nicole now has armed soldiers hunting her and her new clique.  Can Nicole and the others stop the soldiers and make River City safe for their kind?
